Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard; DEAS 1194: 2024, Cigar — Specification,First Edition., notified in G/TBT/N/BDI/457, G/TBT/N/KEN/1576, G/TBT/N/RWA/999, G/TBT/N/TZA/1101, G/TBT/N/UGA/1913 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 02 July 2025 as EAS 1194: 2024, Cigar — Specification,First Edition.

Note: This Draft East African Standard was also notified under SPS committee
